Cooperation programme with Russia 2007-2010
The Norwegian Cooperation Programme in Higher Education and Research with Russia supports long-term collaboration in higher education and research between universities, university colleges and research institutes in Russia and Norway.
Programme objectives
The Programme aims at strengthening the cooperation between Russian and Norwegian institutions in higher education and research with particular emphasis on areas that have academic and thematic relevance to the High North region. The intention of the programme is to provide mutually beneficial interaction and establish lasting partnerships/ cooperation between the two countries in the fields of research and education. It is also intended to have effects extending beyond the academic institutions involved, to include participation by businesses, public authorities and organisations.

There are no available funding opportunities for new projects within the programme period 2007-2010.
The Cooperation Programme with Russia supports long-term collaboration between universities, university colleges and research institutes in Russia and corresponding institutions in Norway. Fifteen projects have received long-term funding (2007-2010) through the programme. The projects supported by this programme are all based on partnerships between at least one institution from each of the two countries, and many have also additional network partners.
