Countries
SIU supports contact between Norwegian universities and colleges and institutions in other countries and also actively follows up the strategies of the Ministry of Education and Research vis-à-vis various countries and regions all over the world.
Support is provided for the most part through a range of programmes and related activities. SIU also strives to strengthen contact with priority geographical regions, which are identified on an annual basis. The priorities are based on guidelines issued by the Ministry as well as on SIU's own priorities, which are the result of a continuing dialogue with the institutions involved.
The following list of current geographical regions therefore do not provide a complete picture by any means of SIU's areas of activity.
