International cooperation forms a central part of Norwegian policy. The internationalisation of education involves a great deal more than the mobility of researchers and students.

SIU supports contact between Norwegian universities and colleges and institutions in other countries and also actively follows up the strategies of the Ministry of Education and Research vis-à-vis various countries and regions all over the world.
