Cooperation in higher education with France
The programme enables Norwegian students and teachers to take both full degrees and shorter courses at selected French institutions of higher education.
Please note that the education programmes are only available for Norwegian nationals.
Norwegian students may apply for admission to bachelor's degrees in technology at the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées of Toulouse (INSA) and economy at the Université Toulouse 1 Sciences Sociale (UT1). The students are offered tailormade programmes harmonising with their language skills and ability in scientific subjects.
French language courses
Norwegian students and teachers may also take language courses in Caen and Paris. The course at Ecole supérieure d’interprètes et de traducteurs (ESIT) in Paris may be taken as part of a degree in translation.
The agreement
The cooperation agreement in higher education is part of the Troll-agreement entered in 1986, which also includes economical, industrial and scientifical cooperation between the two countries.
